First Conor Swail, then Denis Lynch, with whom he won the Derby de La Baule in 2022. Great international performer under the saddle of Conor Swail and Denis Lynch, Rubens won the GP 1.60m at the CSIW-5* in La Coruña, the GP 1.60m at the CSI5* in Tryon and the Nations Cup at the CSIO5* in Vancouver. He has shone on some of the world’s finest tracks: 6th in the GP 1.60m at the CSIO5* in Calgary, 5th in the GP 1.60m at the CSI5* in Calgary, 3rd in the GP 1.60m at the CSI5* in Wellington, 7th in a 1.60m at the CSI5* GCT-GCL in Doha, 7th in a 1.60m at the CSIW-5* in La Coruña… Throughout his career, Rubens has impressed with his strength, canter and great mentality.
His dam, Chanel 149, took part in the Olympic Games and produced 3 1.60 m horses: Rubens, Prestigio La Silla and Tamarindo LS.
His sire, Rebozo, who was 4th at the Lexington World Championships under the saddle of Rodrigo Pessoa, is also the sire of the very good Rebaca LS (1.60m under the saddle ofEdward Levy).

Crossing advice
A medium-sized stallion with a prodigious heart who wrote the history of our sport with his stamina at the highest level.
Endowed with sufficient strength and coverage, it’s time to bring him back from the brink. Rubens is a horse that has shown great “dressability”. It should be crossed with mares that don’t have the strength of their model.
