Abel Gance, gelding, born in 2017, is a big horse with impressive strength passed on to him by his sire Abou Sim Bel (1.60m for Italy). His mother, champion Grey Martini by Casall (1.55m with Martin Fuchs), gave him perfect balance, an excellent mouth and the will to do well. For the past two years, Philippe Bernard’s mission has been to prepare him calmly for the Grand Sport.

His sire, Abou Sim Bel (Tinka’s Boy x Roi de Rome xx), is among others, 5th in the 1.60m GP at the CSI3* in Milan and 6th in a 1.60m at the CSIO3* in Athens in 2021.

His dam, Grey Martini, is a daughter of Contaga, who also produced : AD Clearway II (1.60m), White Gate (1.60m), Grey Campari (1.45m), Grey Christo (1.45m), Da Vinci XIX (1.45m).
