PLOT BLUE

Mr Blue x Pilot
KWPN – 1997 – 1.70m – bay

Plot Blue lit up the world stage from 2003 to 2015. Today, his descendants have taken up the baton with brio.

Pedigree

Plot Blue lit up the world stage from 2003 to 2015.

Starting out with Werner Muff, he reached the top in 2008 with Markus Ehning, when he won the GP CSI5* in Lyon. He retired at the age of 18. Sporting longevity, the hallmark of an outstanding constitution, is the guarantee of success at stud ( Confère For Pleasure, Baloubet, Casall ) .

For breeders, the health capital of their ancestors is a guarantee of sporting success for their foals.

From Mr Blue, his sire, a great winner who covered two years for BLH, we know the excellence of his production with the French broodmare band (Zirocco Blue…) and his great ease of use. At the end of 2017, he was 17th among fathers of international winners of all ages.

Ilotte, the dam of Plot Blue, by Pilot, also produced the excellent stallion Oklund, a great performer in 160 and sire of 32 international winners including Tarpan (D. Lynch). Ilotte is also the dam of Ulotte, who gave birth to the great champion Babylotte (Dollar du Murier), 2nd in the GP CSI5* in Oslo, 12th in Helsinki, 3rd in the Nations Cup in Wellington, winner of the GP CSI5* and the Nations Cup in Hickstead 2017 with Yuri Mansur. Ilote’s latest offspring is Vilotte, the dam of Elton John Level 160cm stallion.

Plot Blue’s granddam, Santa Fee, is Sotheby’s own sister, 4th in the Tampa World Cup Final. She is also the granddam of Persing, winner of the Coupe des Nations d’Aix La Chapelle and the GP de Berlin with Peter Charles, Quick Sox and Paramo K international winners at 1.60 m level.

This pedigree, this performance, this longevity, is gold for sport horse breeders. This powerful, spirited horse will carry the work of his father, Mr Blue, even further. That’s for sure.

Crossing advice

Plot Blue didn’t have the chance to produce important generations for long, yet the contribution of his hock, his unshakeable will and his powerful back enabled him to quickly become one of the best stallions in the world.

His sire Mister Blue was also to be crossed with light mares. Plot Blue produces very intelligent and particularly precocious horses.
